PostSubject: I need help picking a product from...   Sun Mar 23, 2008 3:24 am

My lemming list!

Okay, so mum said I could order $75 worth of products from Sephora - but I have no idea what to buy! My lemming list is basically full of face products I can just go to Dillards to see, so I want to get things that are harder for me to attain. I've already decided on Cargo's Blu_Ray Mattifier [$24] and MAC's MSFN in Medium Deep [$24.50] but that's it! I don't know what else! This is where YOU guys come in.

Here's what I want to chose from:

- Cargo's Purse Gloss in Chicago [$16]
- Philosophy Big Mouth in Pink [$22]
- UDPP [$16]
- Smashbox Jet-Set Waterproof Liner [$22]
- Stila Color Push Ups in Rose Flash [$20]

Totals:

with Cargo: $64.50
with Philosophy: $70.50
with Stila: $68.50

I'm leaning towards the Philosophy gloss and the blusher as a final two. What do you guys think?

I use UDPP every day and would not be without it. My shadows pop that bit more and never crease. I also use it to mix (on the back of my hand) with shadow if I'm applying it under the lower lashline, as often quite hard to get it to last there all day... works so wel!

I I love you UDPP

oh no, Jess, they don't. I'm ordering that on the MAC site. Smile

I unwillingly took the eye stuff off. I know that UDPP is at Pretty Cosmetics, so I'll try to get that next time. I figured I could wait on the liner, too. I've been all about finding a new pink gloss and face stuff, so I narrowed it down to three. I dunno what to pick! I've been in a gloss/blusher rut these days.

I vote for the CARGO Pursegloss, personally. The color looks gorgeous, and I think it would look nice on your skin. Just myyy two-cents.

Very Happy

I think I'll go for that one! I crossed out the philosophy gloss, as much as I totally loved it. But I've been wanting a bright pink so I'll leave it!

Now Puffy has a new dilemma. I've been needing a new powder for a while, so I threw in the MSFN. Should I keep that one, or ditch it so I can get the blusher as well?

I love my MSF natural. Sets foundation really well, feels gorgeous and gives a subtle glow/sheen to the skin... much better than just a pressed powder...

But I am a total blush addict as well!!

I know! that's why I'm all like, nehhh. I may convince mum to buy it anyways [I REALLY need a new blusher], and I just need something nice for my skin.

and since when was Medium Dark lighter than Medium Deep? I thought it was the other way around! if so, I'll have to get Medium Dark.

the Mineral Skin Finish/Natual stuff? cause that looks really nice, and the price isn't too bad. If I were you I'd stick with the face powder instead of the blusher... but it's up to you, m'dear.

Hmm, I have no idea... try them on at the store/counter, the colours on mac.com aren't really that helpful are they!

hee, I know!

and I guess its all decided! funny, since its all what I thought I should have gotten from the get go! I may ask if I can get the blusher anyways along with everything else - just cos I'd like a nice, bright one for the season. You guys have seriously been a big help. Thankies!

Now to wait til April 1st, when mummy places the orders [thats when dad will have the most cash on his card, so he wont miss it!], sweetness!

Yey! It'll be two weeks total, but I can wait! I should get my cell phone around the same time the makeup shows up!

Jerry really does try - "hey, nice green! is that like, some winter shade or something?" - he was actually going to get that revlon custom creations foundation ALL ON HIS OWN.

Mainly because its a foolproof buy even for him. He even picks out pretty lip colours for me. He makes me proud. Smile

Ohhh and you bet I'll be posting FOTDs. Jazmin at Makeup Moxie loved the primer, and we have the same skin type, so I'm excited to give it a shot. And I'm really excited for the MAC...I think it'll be a nice replacement for my Studio Fix.

And you know Gina, when I was showing mum my wishlist, it was the Purse Gloss that made her say she'd order everything for me! So she's getting it in Paris! If nothing else, mum and I can always bond over some hot ass lip gloss.

Dude, I got mum into makeup again! She wanted to get sussed up for dad more, so I'd tell her about foundations and stuff. If I got something that was too dark for me, I'd give it to mum, and it would be rad on her. All she needs now is some nice blusher! She's huge on gloss, and once I showed it to her she fell in love the same way I did. Cos COME ON. A little valve is on it so there's no leaks, and its all squeezy and has the cutest shape. nee!

Jerry doesn't mind me wearing makeup ["You put it on welll!"] and mum just asks me what would look good on her, haha.

Haha, when I want to look good for beau, I just grab some creme blusher, do my brows, and grab mascara so my eyes look all big and bright. I keep it simple. Oh, and I balm it up, so my lips look all pillowy!

But any other day? I try to do a decent face. You NEVER know who'll come along! >.>

I feel naked if my brows aren't done. People seem to stare! I'll end up doing my makeup in homeroom - I know my english teacher hates me for it, haha. Just another reason to get that damn MSFN and blusher for on the go stuff. mmm.
